Split the Pot Homerun Derby

(11:00 am – 4:00pm)

  • $5.00 per hitter
  • Every hitter gets 10 swings
  • The hitter can pick their own pitcher, pitcher pitches from 20 feet (not official distance, to improve strikes)
  • Hitting the foul pole is a home run
  • If a ball hits the fence hard enough to roll over the top, it is a home run
  • No fielders can interfere with pitches or hits on the HRD field
  • Each leader for the hour will be posted at the field
    If a hitter hits 10 home runs (with their 10 swings) they are an automatic winner4

Home Run Derby Competition

3:00 pm – 6:30 pm

$10.00 per hitter (15+ yrs old)
$5.00 per hitter (<15 yrs old) – SAME FIELD SIZE

  • Once fields open up (ETA 6pm) there will be a separate <15 yr old field and an open division field
  • Every hitter gets 10 swings or 20 pitches
  • The hitter can pick their own pitcher, pitcher pitches from 20 feet (not official distance, to improve strikes)
  • Hitting the foul pole is a home run
  • If a ball hits the fence hard enough to roll over the top, it is a home run
  • No fielders can interfere with pitches or hits on the HRD field
  • The top 6 hitters or anyone hitting 10 HRs (3 from each division) will compete under the lights at 8pm
  • In the finals, each hitter gets two minutes

The purpose of this portion of HRD is to determine the 3 best hitters from the 2 divisions to compete under the lights for the trophy

Home Run Derby FINALS

Start time is at 8:40 p.m. prior to the final game. (estimated time for HRD is 30 minutes)

Top 3 hitters from each division from the “competition” described above will compete at 8pm on the main field in a 3 round competition
Same rules apply as above

Each round will have 10 swings, the sum of your 3 rounds will determine the winner, ties go to a 5 swing playoff until tie is broken
